Published Research
Should Preoperative Fascia Iliaca Block Be Used for Hip Arthroscopic Labral Repair and Femoroacetabular Impingement Treatment?

Dr. Michael Huang of Colorado Springs Orthopaedic Group (CSOG) recently published a research article that previously had very little study on a pain management procedure conducted in hip surgery. This research conducted by Dr. Huang and his team was possible because of CSOG’s multi-discipline orthopaedic setting, a great accomplishment since most research is done in academic settings. With its findings, CSOG will apply pain management in different ways that will provide more benefit to patient care.

Philosophy of Care
“I like to craft orthopedic treatment plans for my patients on an individual basis. My practice philosophy is to empower patients with as much valid medical evidence available pertaining to their injury and to share the decision making with them. My goal is to help my patients return to their life.”
