Dr. Sung is a fellowship-trained and board-certified orthopedic surgeon who specializes in cervical and lumbar surgery, microsurgery, and minimally invasive surgery. He also performs complex spine reconstruction via minimally invasive techniques. He also offers alternatives to fusion including artificial disc replacement for the lumbar and cervical spine, and spinal cord stimulation.

Dr. Sung has been in practice in Colorado Springs since 2000, joining The Spine Center at Colorado Springs Orthopaedic Group in 2007. Dr. Sung and his wife Kelly have three children who are very active in sports. Dr. Sung enjoys skiing and golf.

Christian graduated from Midwestern University-Glendale with a Master of Medical Sciences in Physician Assistant Studies. There he served on the leadership team of the Sports Medicine Club as the PA liaison. Prior to that he attended Dallas Baptist University in Texas and Graduated with a B.S. in Biology with a minor in chemistry.
He has a special interest in orthopedics and has a passion for helping patients get back to their favorite activities. He believes in personal approach and loves getting to know every person he treats to build trusting relationships.
In his free time, Christian enjoys playing competitive softball, golfing, reading and spending time with his friends and family.
