Why Total Disc Replacement?
Preserving range of motion for a more natural feel to the cervical and lumbar spine
Offers a faster recovery so patients can return to their activities sooner than alternative methods
Helps to preserve and prevent degeneration of the discs above and below the affected segments

Cervical Total Disc Replacement
The prodisc C total disc replacement was developed as an alternative to spinal fusions, to help enable controlled an guided motion while restoring the discs natural height and offload any potentially pinched nerves.
The patented design of the Centinel Spine prodisc C implant includes a fixed center of rotation and a central “keel” which allows the natural range of motion and provides stability to the spine. This combination can reduce the potential for re-operations at the adjacent disc levels.
In depth studies show that these motion preserving implants for the cervical spine have facilitated a quicker return to activities and have enabled patients to regain their range of motion for the long-term.
Adaptability
With many different sizes of disc implants available to the surgeon, prodisc C is unique in that it can be adapted to fit each individual patient’s anatomical structure.

Lumbar Total Disc Replacement
The prodisc L total disc replacement was developed as an alternative to lumbar spine fusions to allow for a more natural controlled and guided motion while restoring disc height, offloading any potential pinched nerves.
The patented design includes a fixed center of rotation and a central “keel” which allows the normal range of motion, and increases stability to the spine. This combination can reduce the potential for re-operation at the adjacent spinal segments.
Similar to prodisc C, prodisc L has been shown to facilitate quicker recovery and return to activities through its ability to retain a patient’s range of motion and natural spinal flexion over the long-term.
Indications
prodisc L is the only lumbar total disc replacement with 2-level indications in the US. Meaning, with the appropriate patient candidate, prodisc L can be used to treat up to 2 diseased adjacent spinal segments.
