Born in Lansing, Michigan, Dr. James Bee is a fly fishing enthusiast and stays active by mountain biking, running, and snowboarding. He is married to Sheila Bee, MD.

Philosophy of Care
Every patient is different, and no two issues are the same. I always start my patients with the most conservative, non-operative approaches because most spine problems can be treated without surgery. If those don’t work, we come up with a surgery option together that is right for them.

Nathan is a physician assistant specializing in spine surgery and orthopedics. He works with Dr. James Bee. Nathan completed his undergraduate degree in Biology from the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs with honors. He attended AT Still University in Mesa, Arizona where he completed the Physician Assistant program. Prior to joining CSOG, Nathan worked in Interventional Pain Management, followed by a period of time working with the underserved communities of Pueblo, CO, in Primary and Urgent Care settings.
Born and raised in Colorado, Nathan’s enjoys spending time with his wife and young son. As a family they can be seen frequenting music festivals, hiking, camping, fishing and all things related to the outdoors.
