Christian Welch, MSPT

Christian Welch

Christian Welch, Rehab Supervisor, grew up in Austin, Texas and received a bachelor's degree in business administration from East Texas State University. He then earned his Master of Science degree in physical therapy from Southwest Texas State University in 1998. Christian enjoys sports medicine thanks to his experience playing football in high school and now coaching his four children in soccer. His experience is primarily in outpatient orthopedic physical therapy, which he has practiced in Texas and since moving to Colorado in 2001. Christian has taken advanced training physical therapy courses including sports medicine, dry needling, and shoulder and knee rehabilitation. In his free time, Christian enjoys camping and hiking with his family, mountain biking, and snowboarding.

Kamber Arbini, MPT, COMT

Kamber Arbini

Kamber Arbini, MPT, COMT, graduated from Westmont College in Santa Barbara, California with a bachelors in Kinesiology in 1996; then completed her Masters of Physical Therapy from Azusa Pacific University in 1999. She was a competitive gymnast through high school and played both high school and college volleyball. Working closely with her own PT through her high school and college years sparked an interest in physical therapy. Her career has focused primarily on outpatient orthopedics. She sees it as a privilege to have the opportunity to partner with patients to assist them in returning to their highest level if function. She believes continuing education is key to advancing her skills and challenging herself to be a better therapist. In 2014 she completed an extensive two year program making her a Certified Orthopedic Manipulative Therapist. In her free time she continues to play in competitive volleyball leagues both here in Colorado Springs as well as in Denver. She grew up on the beaches of sunny southern California so she also enjoys most water sports. During the summer the best place to find her is at Pueblo Reservoir waterskiing and wake boarding.

Catherine Bottorff, PT, DPT, COMT

Katie Bottorff, PT, DPT, COMT, graduated from the University of Northern Colorado in 2000 with a bachelors in Kinesiology. She then completed her Doctorate of Physical Therapy at St. Ambrose University in Davenport, Iowa in 2006. Katie’s love of volleyball throughout high school and college gave her opportunities to meet physical therapists and grow her interest in the field. This interest has pushed her toward a career in outpatient orthopedics. Katie also participates in continuing education classes and in 2014 she completed an extensive 2 year program to become a Certified Orthopedic Manipulative Therapist. In her free time, Katie loves hiking and spending time with her family.

Kristin Hatin, PT, DPT

Kristin Hatin

Kristin Hatin, PT, DPT, graduated from the University of Vermont with a bachelor’s degree in 2008; then completed graduate school at the University of Vermont, receiving her Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2011. She pursued a career in physical therapy based on her love for helping people and interest in the human body. After practicing at a small outpatient orthopedic practice in Vermont, she and her husband decided to move to Colorado in April 2014. Outside of work, Kristin enjoys hiking, mountain biking, cooking, traveling, snowboarding, and spending time with friends and family.

Matt Kudron, PT, DPT, OCS, CSCS

Matt Kudron, PT, DPT, OCS, CSCS, grew up in Columbus, Nebraska and received a bachelor's degree in exercise science from the University of Nebraska-Omaha. He then earned his Doctorate of Physical Therapy Degree from the University of Nebraska-Medical Center in 2010. During his time in Physical Therapy school, Matt received advanced certification as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS). Following his graduation Matt first practiced in Dallas, Texas before moving to Tucson, Arizona. This is where he completed a post-graduate residency program through the Evidence in Motion Institute with specialization in orthopedic based manual therapy. He moved to Colorado Springs in 2014, and in 2015, Matt became board certified as an Orthopedic Care Specialist (OCS) through the American Physical Therapy Association. In his free time, Matt enjoys camping, hiking, running, weight lifting, and any lake or mountain related activities.

Joyce Ziomek, PT

Joyce Ziomek

Joyce Ziomek, PT, received her physical therapy degree from the University of Illinois at the Chicago Medical campus. With 30 years of experience she brings an extensive background in not only orthopedic and sports related treatments, but also alternative types of techniques such as craniosacral and myofascial work. Joyce has attended numerous continuing education courses in all areas of orthopedics with a special interest in the shoulder, hip, knee, and cervical and lumbar spine. She has presented multiple lectures to medical personnel and community groups. Joyce and her husband have many recreational interests such as tennis, hiking, biking and skiing.

Julie Glenn, PTA

Julie Glenn

Julie Glenn, PTA, was born and raised by the beaches of Southern California, but has considered Colorado her home since 1996. Julie has been in the field of physical therapy since 2006 and is currently a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant, having graduated from Arapahoe Community College Physical Therapist Assistant program in 2010. Julie enjoys working on the broad spectrum of rehabilitation cases that come through the clinic each day. Her extensive clinical experiences include all phases of orthopedic rehabilitation, geriatrics, as well as acute sports injuries. As an avid mountain biker and downhill skier, Julie enjoys helping people return to their sports and activities. Julie leads an active, athletic lifestyle and volunteers her time often in the local community.

Megan Johnson, PTA

Megan Johnson

Megan Johnson, PTA, is a recent graduate of Pueblo Community College with an Associate of Arts and Science degree as a Physical Therapist Assistant. In addition to her Physical Therapist Assistant degree, Megan graduated from the University of Colorado Colorado Springs in May 2010 with a Bachelor of Science in Health Care Science. During her educational pursuits, Megan attended various American Physical Therapy Association continuing education courses including Manual Therapy for the PTA, Innovative Approach to the Injured Runner and Franklin Method, and Pelvic Power for Core Integration. In between educational endeavors, Megan was also able to work as an Administrative Assistant for a Developmental Behavioral Pediatrician in Colorado Springs. Megan has lived in Colorado most of her life and thrives on outdoor recreational activities including hiking, backpacking, rock climbing, running, tubing, and skiing. Megan thoroughly enjoys working in outpatient, orthopedic physical therapy and is looking forward to advancing all aspects of her clinical skills, especially those in therapeutic exercise and manual therapy.

Denis Kush, PTA

Denis Kush, PTA, MT, CNMT, is a born and raised native of Colorado Springs, CO and graduated from Pueblo Community College in 2006 with an Associate of Arts and Science degree as a Physical Therapist Assistant. In addition to his PTA degree, Denis has an Associate degree in Sports and Fitness from Denver Technical College and is a licensed Massage Therapist. During his 20 years of experience in physical therapy, Denis has primarily worked in an outpatient setting, but has also work in skilled nursing. Denis was privileged to be able to apply his skills at the Olympic Training Center working on the most elite athletes in the world. Growing up, Denis participated in numerous sports including soccer, swimming, and hockey in which many sport related injuries were inflicted and treated, thus showing him the benefits of physical therapy. Presently he enjoys spending time with his family, participating in all outdoor activities, and especially teaching/coaching his two girls in swimming and baseball.

Kelly Wood, OTR, CHT

Kelly Wood, OTR, CHT ,is a Colorado native who graduated from Colorado State University with a Bachelor of Science in occupational therapy. She received specialty certification as a certified hand therapist in 2005. Kelly has worked in outpatient rehabilitation in Colorado Springs since 1999. She specializes in custom splinting and orthotics for the upper extremity, treating post-surgical and upper extremity trauma, and rehabilitation. She enjoys treating people of all ages, ranging from 9 days old to 99 years old. In her free time, Kelly takes advantages of all that Colorado has to offer, spending time with family, and traveling.

Danielle Bayette

Danielle Bayette, OTA, is a graduate of Barton County Community College with an Associates of Applied Science degree as an Occupational Therapy Assistant. She has worked in Hand and Upper Extremity Therapy since 2001. Danielle is skilled in working with trauma and post surgical patients. Danielle has lived in Colorado since 2000 and enjoys camping, hiking and traveling with her husband.

Roger Hill, PT

Roger Hill, Rehab Supervisor, was born and raised in Pasadena, CA and received a degree in Physical Therapy from California State University, Northridge. In 1996, he struck out on a new adventure to Colorful Colorado with his wife and children.

Roger is well-versed in various disciplines of physical therapy and has years of experience in his favorite specialty, outpatient orthopedics. He appreciates opportunities to teach and mentor new grads through sharing innovative ideas and techniques. His efforts add value to the physical therapy clinic by improving patient experiences and helping people get back on their feet. In his free time, Roger enjoys various activities including hiking, mountain biking with his dog (Chase), fly fishing, and hanging out with his family.

Nick Kulesa, PT, DPT, MS


Nick Kulesa

Nick Kulesa, PT, DPT, MS hails from Long Island, NY, where he grew up on the Atlantic shore as a runner, swimmer, and ocean lifeguard.  He pursued a BS in Biotechnology and Pre-Medicine (2005) at SUNY Buffalo, while adding cycling and triathlon to his athletic repertoire.  While pursuing a MS in Exercise Physiology and Sport Nutrition (2007) at SUNY Buffalo, Nick received his ACSM certificate in personal training, and completed an internship at the US Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs for Sport Performance and USA Cycling.  Nick completed his Doctorate in Physical Therapy (2013) at CU Denver, where he gained intern experience in orthopedic, acute, neurological, pediatric, geriatric, and sport rehabilitation in Colorado and Montana.  Currently, Nick enjoys practicing outpatient orthopedic care, with an emphasis on competitive sports rehab and post-operative care, specifically regarding cartilage injury and repair in the knee, hip, and shoulder.  This interest stems from his past and present activity as a competitive triathlete and road cyclist, as well as a personal history of over 10 knee and hip surgeries including meniscus transplant, autologous cartilage implant, labrum repair, and labrum reconstruction.  Nick continues his post-graduate education with regular coursework in sports, orthopedic, and manual physical therapy, and enjoys daily bike/swim/gym training, hiking, drumming, nerd life and spending time in the great outdoors.


Eric Williston, PT

Eric Williston, DPT, was born and raised in Maryland then lived in Pennsylvania for a few years before moving to Colorado in 2013. Eric received his undergraduate degree from McDaniel College and his Doctoral of Physical Therapy from Drexel University in 2009. He has spent the majority of his career in Outpatient Orthopaedics and has a passion to return patients to their full potential.

In college, Eric was a lacrosse player and enjoyed years of athletics. This one reason for his desire to help others return to sports, hobbies, and other activities after they’ve suffered an injury. Eric also loves spending time with his wife and son. His hobbies include mountain biking, hiking, snowboarding, rock climbing, and camping.

Macie Luna, PTA

Macie Luna, PTA, graduated from Austin Community College with an Associate of Arts and Science degree as a Physical Therapist Assistant. She also studied at Texas State University and earned her Bachelor’s in Exercise Sports and Science. At Colorado Springs Orthopaedic Group, Macie truly enjoys working in the Outpatient Orthopedic setting. She looks forward to helping people regain their strength and functional abilities in order to return to recreational, as well as daily tasks.

During four of her undergraduate years, Macie played softball on scholarship and won 3 conference championships. She enjoys everything outdoors including hiking, fishing, and camping. Macie recently moved to Colorado Springs with her husband, daughter, and two dogs.
