At Colorado Springs Orthopaedic Group, Dr. Ellis specializes in Sports Medicine and surgeries of the shoulder, elbow and knee. He completed an additional year of training in sports medicine and shoulder surgery following his orthopaedic surgery residency. Dr. Ellis is currently a Team Physician for the Colorado College Athletic Teams.

Dr. Ellis is an avid surfer and adventure travel enthusiast.  He has two young daughters, Ingrid & Caroline.
