Dr. Dresher was raised on a fifth-generation family farm in McPherson County, Kansas. He received his undergraduate degree from Washburn University in Topeka, Kansas with a Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry. He then earned his medical degree at University of Kansas School of Medicine, and went on to train in orthopaedic surgery at the Campbell Clinic in Memphis, Tennessee. Dr. Dresher completed an additional year of training at the Cleveland Clinic Hospital specializing in the study of foot and ankle surgery.

Dr. Dresher is board certified and currently serves as a team physician for the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs athletic teams and for Mitchell and Discovery Canyon High Schools.  On a personal note, he enjoys cycling and downhill skiing.
