Tim W. Filzen, PA-C



PA Filzen has been a Physician Assistant since August 1996. He has been working specifically in orthopedics since June 2002 after completing an orthopedic fellowship for Physician Assistants at Wilford Hall Medical Center in San Antonio, Texas. He has been in Colorado Springs for two years and entered the area courtesy of an Air Force assignment to the United States Air Force Academy. He has extensive experience in all aspects of orthopedic care related to orthopedic oncology with additional interest in the clinical management of arthritis, and assisting with joint replacements and sports medicine care. PA Filzen is actively involved in the USAFA sports programs and is currently the team provider for the USAFA Men's Rugby Team.

PA Filzen and wife, Robyn, have two daughters, Katie and Sarah. They enjoy much of the outdoor life that Colorado offers and are very happy about the prospect of being in Colorado Springs for years to come.
