Rick has been a physician assistant since 1981 and is recently retired from the US Air Force. He has more than 20 years of experience in orthopaedic surgery, specifically total joints, sports medicine and trauma. His last two years in the Air Force were spent at the US Air Force Academy where he was a member of the orthopaedic clinic and the medical provider for the Men's Rugby Team.

Rick and his wife Angie have two children and one grand-daughter. Rick's other interests include flying as a private pilot, golf, and scuba diving.
