Gavin Scott was raised in Los Angeles, California where he dedicated much of his time to becoming an accomplished gymnast. While attending BYU-Idaho, he graduated with an Associate’s Degree in Arts and Sciences with an emphasis in Biology. During college, Gavin took two years off and lived in Peru as a service missionary and speaks Spanish. In 2006, he graduated from D’Youville College in Buffalo, New York where he earned his Bachelor’s of Science in Physician Assistant Studies. Upon graduation, he worked for Rochester General Hospital in Rochester, New York as a Surgical Physician Assistant. There he assisted on many surgical services including, neurosurgery, plastics, trauma, ear nose & throat, and general surgery. Gavin then transferred to the Orthopedic Department and continued working at Rochester General Hospital for four more years. Now Gavin is delighted to be working with Colorado Springs Orthopaedic Group, where he works directly with Dr. Steven Myers.
Gavin, his wife Beth and daughter Ella are enjoying the change to the Western United States and learning more about Colorado. They are pleased to be near family and enjoy spending time with them. Gavin loves to snowboard and is happy to be where there are real mountains with deep powder.
