He received all of his medical training in the military and retired from the Air Force after 20 years of service. His clinical skills include, among other things, evaluating and treating patients in a clinical setting, accomplishing admission history and physicals, dictating discharge summaries, first-assistant responsibilities in a wide variety of orthopaedic procedures, casting and direct participation in pre and post-operative care.
