Community Partners

At Colorado Springs Orthopaedic Group, we believe that giving back to the local community is of the utmost importance. Our physicians volunteer at District 11, District 20 and UCCS as the official orthopedic providers to all athletics. We sponsor local youth and adult sports camps and tournaments; we participate in health fairs and expos; and we donate time and medical supplies to the community.

District 11 & District 20

Colorado Springs Orthopaedic Group has been the official orthopedic medical provider to District 20 and District 11 for the last 13 years. We provide medical coverage to all athletics and volunteer at home games. Every fall, our physicians stand sideline at all home football games at Coronado, Palmer, Mitchell, Doherty, Liberty, Pine Creek, Discovery Canyon Campus, Rampart and Air Academy High Schools. We also provide free, intitial evaluations to injured student athletes through our Bumps & Bruises Clinic. University of Colorado Colorado Springs (UCCS)

We have proudly been the official orthopedic medical provider to the University of Colorado Colorado Springs (UCCS) for the last two years. Our physicians volunteer their time to perform annual sports physicals to new student athletes, cover home games and take calls in emergency situations. Colorado Springs Orthopaedic Group has also started a student athlete scholarship program that offers one student a "full ride" scholarship every year. Most recently, we donated a Mindray Musculoskeletal Ultrasound to the UCCS Mountain Lion Athletic Department which allows University of Colorado Colorado Springs athletic trainers to be able to make quicker and more accurate diagnoses for student athletes.

Pro Football Camp

Since 2006, the Pro Football camp, held annually in Colorado Springs, has provided elementary and middle school aged kids the opportunity to participate in a football camp coached by by NFL athletes, with the goal of the camp to encourage and inspire youth to develop themselves into the very best athletes and people they can be. In July of 2013, Colorado Springs Orthopaedic Group joined the Pro Football Camp team to sponsor the first ever, Colorado Springs Orthopaedic Group 7v7 Benefit Tournament for local area high school teams. In its first year, nine high school teams participated with over 200 high school student athletes. All the proceeds from the tournament went to providing scholarships to kids to attend the 2014 Pro Football Camp. Special Forces Scholarship Fund

United States Army Special Forces – the Green Berets – constitute our Nation’s single largest special operations force. The families of these Green Berets, especially the children, have borne a heavy burden in this war against terror. They, too, serve this nation while their Soldiers deploy repeatedly into harm’s way. The Special Forces Scholarship Fund (SFSF) recognizes the service of Green Beret families by awarding merit-based post secondary educational scholarships to the daughters and sons of current and veteran Special Forces Soldiers.

The Never Alone Foundation

The Never Alone Foundation invests in families connected with the international adoption community. Drawing from the foundation’s reservoir, we bridge the financial gap to assist parents in bringing orphaned children home. We also offer aid to parents shouldering significant medical expenses as they endeavor to bring their youngsters to full physical health. And finally, Never Alone provides financial assistance allowing families to access the unique post-placement services and support that help children with adoption challenges learn to be born in their parents’ hearts.

Project C.U.R.E

Project C.U.R.E. is a non-profit, humanitarian relief organization that collects medical supplies and equipment and donates it to developing countries. When CSOG transitioned to digital imaging instead of traditional X-rays in early 2007, we decided to donate our old X-ray processors, developers, and related equipment to Project C.U.R.E. so they could be distributed to needy medical facilities around the world.
